WIN Learning Technology Verification
​Please complete the Technology Verification for spring testing before 3/10/2023.

Step 1:  Please click on the three buttons below to view the Technical Requirements, Lockdown Browser with Whitelisting instructions, and Lockdown Browser instructions for Chromebooks (if applicable). 

Step 2:  After reviewing these documents, please complete the following steps to ensure that your schools are ready for testing:

A. Conduct a speed test to verify the testing machines meet the minimum bandwidth requirement. Click Start on the speed test below provided by OpenSpeedTest™. WIN Learning recommends a minimum 1 Mbps constant connection per user. (Minimum constant connection / Concurrent Users)

B. Download and install the appropriate version of the lockdown browser; the lockdown browser must be installed on each computer that students will use for testing:

1.  The Windows .msi installer can be installed silently. Installation switches can be found here:

C.  Complete whitelisting; 

D.  Test the lockdown browser. Instructions for testing the lockdown browser can be found in the Lockdown Browser Instructions (Windows and Mac). You can test the Chromebook app by opening the app, it should open to the WIN Career Readiness sign-in page.        
1.  When testing the Chromebook app take note of the app’s name. The name of the Chromebook app for testing is “WIN Learning LDB 2.0”. If your Chromebook app has a different name, such as “WIN Learning - SC” (old version) please contact WIN Learning Support for assistance.
2.  To exit the Chromebook app it is necessary to power cycle the Chromebook.

Step 3:  Once you have completed the lockdown browser setup, please complete the Technology Verification Form below. A copy of the form will be sent to WIN Support. to confirm your school district is ready for testing.
